We are a Forum based Weyr that has been around for about 4 years!
Our Canon roots have been deviated from as we continue to grow.
As of now we should be considered a non-canon website with a tactful canon aftertaste.
Atricis Weyr has managed to hold on, although sometimes it seemed much easier to give up, and it has always carried its own weight through out the Turns. The death of the previous Weyrwoman Myrna has left Kharua as the Weyrwoman, her gold rose making that official, but fate is never kind and whatever happiness was brought with this vanished very quickly. Igen Weyr and Ista Weyr sent letters offering Atricis' residents a place to live, under strict conditions for the dragonriders, and promise a life better than any have ever known; Atricis refuses. A month later the new Weyrleader of Atricis is missing without a single trace as to his whereabouts. It is rumored that Igen Weyr or Ione, a Hold that has openly opposed Atricis Weyr in favor of Igen, could be the sources behind all of this, but with no absolute proof the only thing that Atricis can do is deal with those who present a constant struggle to the way of life. However, the lingering words of Igen Weyr still haunt Atricis, and the pressure from Ione Hold for Atricis residents to abandon the only home they have known in favor of Igen's protection is tempting to some. Who wouldn't leap at the chance to be rid of such a place that is in the blind spot of fate's eye?
Now the time has come and gone for two of Atricis' zultanites to aid in ensuring the survival of their Weyr, but as the temptation of a clutch grows closer there are many who realize that temptation has a limit. The Weyr needs more greens, blues, browns, bronzes, and most certainly a gold; why would it need any more mutated freaks to make it stand out even more to the other, normal, Weyrs of Pern?
Zultanite Abheath rose for her maiden flight and was caught by Pewter Renceth, another mutation, which caused a hush of whispers to spread through the Weyr like wildfire. With this being the first time that a Pewter has ever sired a clutch; what surprises are in store for this particular clutch?
Zultanite Zaereth rose for her second Flight and, much to the surprise of everyone in the Weyr, was caught by first a blue and then a bronze. How is her clutch having two fathers going to effect the babies?
How are these clutches going to effect Weyr and Hold relations?
The tension between the two Weyrs, Atricis and Igen, is growing to newer heights even though there is a peaceful air lingering within right now. How long will peace last before Ione Hold decides that it's time to further fan the flames in an attempt to dismantle Atricis?
Only time will tell...

-- The rumors of a strange, furry, and flying creature have proven to be true! Another pet has been added to Atricis Weyr.
-- The clutching will be on January 6th! Can you figure out and take a bet on what are in the eggs?
-- The 18th Hatching is scheduled for January 27th, 2012!
-- As one would expect, this means that Candidates are being searched out for and wide for Atricis Weyr!
-- Krizia has stepped down as Tunnel Leader at last and taken up the new rank of Tunnel Matriarch. This means a new pair of Tunnel Leaders will be chosen soon!
