Oh she was hungry and or these creatures looked so good. She took a breath, seeing the hot air that rolled out of her nostrils. It was quite satisfying. All too satisfying. The large pale gold wings spread suddenly, sending already panicked and frighten creatures scattering. She crooned. How lovely! Oh.... but which one. She hissed slightly, watching another of her "siblings" pick and grab the one she had just picked. Oh! He would pay for that!
BrotherDearest... I do suggest that if you want to achieve, you no longer take the kill I have picked. Or would you rather you were my choice of meal...?
Amaelia looked up sharply from the document before her and spoke aloud to her draogn, but put a mental push against her as well. "Tyranith! You are no cannibal! You WILL NEVER eat another dragon's flesh!" Amaelia resisted the urge to jump to her feet and go to chastise the young gold further. Why did a seventeen Turn old girl have to have so many burdens on her.
Oh but MaeMine... I would never REALLY eat him... I am just... you know... chastising him.
The sickly sweet tone was enough in and of itself to make Amaelia roll her eyes in irritation. "You are a crazy b****, Tyranith." Tyranith rumbled her amusement. She loved her rider and she loved her even more now that she had a backbone.
No matter. It was her turn now and she would take down her second choice. The herdbeast looked juicier anyhow. She spread her wings and leaped into the air, vaguely wondering for a moment when her first flight would happen. She was not far from graduating weyrlinghood...
Anyhow... she landed heavily on the herdbeast who was rather small compared to her and immediately started tearing into it, eating rather messily, not caring who saw or what they thought. It never mattered. She was too important for any of that.
Amaelia sighed. She felt so unlucky some days. And, yet... she lvoed Tyranith. She wouldn't trade the dragoness for the world. Though she would love to not have to put up with some of the dragon's attitude. Tyranith's rumble told her that she thought much the same some days, but as per usual... the satisfied feeling that rolled off of her told Amaelia all she needed to know. Tyranity did not make mistakes. She was always right and if she was ever wrong, woe on he (or she) who should make it known to her or to anyone else.
The dragoness always had to be perfect in the eyes of everyone but her rider. there were no exceptions... Though, few probably actually saw her as perfect. Amaelia just believed it best to let her believe that they did. After all... she would go back to believing such things no matter what.
We should go bathe and then you should oil me, Mine. I think that my hide needs to be shined. The cold air is just SO rough on it...
Amaelia sighed and shook her head, glad that, for this rather breezy, if bright, summer day, her hair was well tied back and out of her face. "Sure darling. I'm sure we can do that." She looked back at her hide and let her dragoness go about her meal. Let her have the fun of tearing and eating it. She did enjoy such things. SHe liked the carnage... tough Lia was at a loss as to ascertain why as of yet.

She's being a...oh what do call it? A pig, again Miniri.
Midnath watched from the overhang in the Weyr as te Gold from her clutch landed on her meal and started tearing it literally limb from limb. Humming a sort of song, Midnath shook her head. Really that thing needed to get some manners. Poor Tyranith may be a Queen Mine, but what male in his right mind would want a slob? The green purred practically as she looked from Hers back to her shining sister. Making a chirping noise, the little dragoness folded one wing in front of her head almost like a hand covering her mouth. Oops! Did little ol' me end up saying that aloud to even you sister? Oh, poor, poor thing.
Midnath giggled, the bell-like sound echoing in Miniri's ears. The weyrling had been about to go and see Epona when the green's voice entered her head. Knowing how volatile those two could be though, she turned on her heels and headed for the feeding grounds. "Seems like they're at it again." Her words were as friendly as could be with Midnath as mischievous as she was. However, a slight bitterness was there too. What could Miniri do though? Old habits died hard as they say. She looked at the goldrider, wondering if she too missed home...or it would be too if Miniri could gather more sense of her broken memories.
Sighing, the greenrider let her body slide against the fence, draping her arms over the top as she looked at the frightened Wherries. They only got more upset as Midnath flared her wings and went from up in the Weyr heights to down on the feeding grounds in seconds. She was tiny in comparison to the gold, but Midnath pranced past the dragoness as if she were the Queen instead. Fluttering her wings, she flapped them once to be airborne again and started randomly chasing and herding the prey beasts.
Stop messing with them Midnath. It's not nice. The green snorted, but obliged amazingly and dove in on a hairpin turn to grab a smaller one up. I was only playing, if she can why can't I? Midnath giggled though, and Miniri was quick to catch on to the insult. The green had been mocking Tyranith yet again, this time by paralleling her quick and more graceful maneuvers to the gold's bad eating habits. Both to Midnath were playing with food though. "She's something else sometimes." Miniri muttered it more to herself than Aemilia.

Tyranith's pride was probably greater than anything in the weyr. Bigger, is what one would mean. And she did not take kindly to others stepping on it. Oh no, her green sister would be punished. She would just have to come up with a suitable one. The stupid green was daft. Thinking she was royalty! Ha!
Tyranith turned to her sister with a hiss, eyes swirling red.... then suddenly... she took on a dangerous sly expression and the feeling that rolled off. "I think... you have it about as bad as I do..." Amaelia sighed, getting ready to try to control the dragoness.
Oh sister dear.... You are so foolish. Chasing those wherries around. Ha. What I am doing is showing my anger and ferocity. This is not game. Oh no. It is carnage, death, blood. It is anger spilled onto a helpless but already dead victim... Where what you do is pure cruelty. And oh! A pig you say you fool hardy green. Do not forget I will be more than willing to rip your wings from your green body. But. Ha! I rather be a solid and strong pig than a fleeting bird who's wings will be torn off by the gust of wind! At least /I/ will not blow over!
"I hope that this time.... Tyranith doesn't try to do what she did last time. You know... that nearly ended badly..." Mae had such a headache right now. "I can't wait for her to grow out of some of this... If she ever does..."
She suddenly wished she could be at home, going to school, working. Whatever. Living her life the way that she was supposed to be living it. Not trying to control a huge gold dragon.
Oh, but Mine! You love me! You know you do! AmMine!
Yes, Tyranith, I do.
It was just to Hers and to hers alone, her eyes still swirling red. She was still irate. "You know... she never seems to gain wait. She is always so thin..." Amaelia was often worried about this. her dragoness was so... lanky with positively HUGE wings... and she was huge in frame to. Supposed to be the full programmed size for a gold. She had her problems, but over all... she was viewed as a success. And she was healthy.
Tyranith looked to Miniri.Yours is delusional, Rider. She thinks herself a Queen. I feel sorry for her. She could be quite spectacular if she accepted who she was.
It was the closest the gold had ever come to complementing the green. She wouldn't hate her sister so much if sh would just stop acting like she was more important than herself. Oh.. She hated that! Tyranith WAS the Queen and she had half a mind to prove it to this wherry brained green whom she thought to be quite dimwitted.

Midnath hissed at her sister's words. A bird? I may be a bird My Queen. Here she spat the word out, but she had said it, however birds fly, not pigs. They wallow in the dirt and run Oh yeah, she went there. Hissing again, and giggling all the while, the green snaked her head around and lashed out at a wherry that had started to trail back around the dragonesses. It screamed in terror before she cut her attack short and let it go. At least I have manners Mine. The dragoness flicked her wings, letting blood droplets fall to the ground.
Miniri nodded her head. "I know what you mean. Maybe it's something to do with the process the eggs took in becoming generated?" She offered the suggestion in order to take her mind off of Midnath and Tyranith's actions. The two were like gunpowder and a match. Apart they weren't too threatening, though a match certainly held some threat, and gunpowder made you nervous. Together though, they created one extreme explosion. The weyrling sighed and reached out for Midnath, only to have the green bat her away. "I don't understand how you do it Amaelia...she always controls me. I can't figure out how you control Tyranith as much as you do."
The green snorted as she lashed her tail around behind her. She hadn't touched her kill much at all, instead she was watching her sister intently. There will be no respect given without knowing it will be returned Tyranith. We have always been at odds with each other...don't you think it fun? I think it's tiring. Midnath rolled onto her side to bathe in the warmth of Rukbat. The movement showed her paler spots, and Miniri had to wonder if they didn't seem like they were glowing a bit. The answer was no though. Greens didn't show days before like Golds did, besides she wasn't acting any differently. Closing her eyes, Miniri wondered how Epona was doing.
