Description:
Raevin is a tall, athletically build man. He is rather well muscled. His skin is a tanned color which is accented by his somewhat shaggy black hair, which often flops into his mahogany brown eyes. He doesn't much care for haircuts, which does seem to show. His face is a bit longer in shape with a hooked nose and hawk like eyes. His lips are thinner than most. He has a somewhat square jawline and overall has a rugged appearance.
Generally, Raevin wears riding gear or work clothes at all times so that he may always be ready for what may be asked of him. He is a warrior, and it shows in the various scars and marks on his face, arms, and body. He generally will carry a sword or knife where he is allowed.
His hands are calloused and rough from hard work that he has done throughout his life. His boots are almost always dirty and dusty, though he does take the time to clean them from time to time.

Description:
Raevin is quick witted and sharp tongued. He has a quick temper and is generally rather quick to judge. He tends to be ruthless and shrewd when dealing with those who have broken some rule or something of that kind. He can be vain at times, sometimes enjoying people telling him how good he is, though he would never say as much. He would count it as a flaw rather than an asset or liked trait of his.
He does have a soft side though. He finds making friends easy, though keeping them something else at times, and enjoyable and tends to be a very good and loyal one at that. He isn't easy to get along with though. However, any woman who is tough and tends towards being the kind with a mind of her own will find that he will dote on them to no end and will be ever kind and loving towards them, whether as a friend, in a brotherly fashion, or as a lover.
He is very protective of those he holds dear, but not overtly so. He is a brave warrior, always carrying his sharp wit along with him into battle. He is a faithful and steadfast man to his Weyr and to those he counts allies, ready to stand up and fight. He carries a great grief on his shoulders, however, which is something he only shares with the closest of friends. He is an expert at hiding things that are on his mind, whether at the forefront or in the back of it, if he doesn't want someone to know about something, they won't be able to tell. He doesn't like to follow someone else, and sees himself as a leader. He hates being given orders, but if a woman he currently has a love interest in is the one giving them, he doesn't mind, just so long as the orders aren't ridiculous or harmful. It is a particular… quark and flaw of his.
He has a hard time sitting still and doing nothing. He always has to have something to do or think about, otherwise, it just doesn't work for him.

Written History:
Raevin was born a farmcrafter. His family was worked hard and taught him to do the same. He was the youngest of five siblings.
From a young age, he and his siblings worked with their parents, learning the farmercraft. When he attached a flitter, he was ten Turns old. It was a gift from his uncle who was a guard for the Hold. It hadn’t been cheap to get either. The egg, however, contained a Bronze firelizard that he named Monarae, after his oldest brother who he looked up to.
However, the first tragedy to strike young Raevin’s life was the loss of that brother. He died in a cart accident when Raevin was eleven Turns. And shortly after in that same Turn, his family found that they could not support all their children. And that was that. In order to protect Raevin, they sent him to be taken care of by his Uncle.
And that was the beginning of his training as a guard. He picked it up quickly, though he still had quite the disadvantage due to his age. However, by the time he was twenty Turns old, he was one of the best guards the Hold had.
When he was 18 Turns, though, his Uncle died during a struggle that broke out between some Traders and a farmcrafter’s son. This was another blow that was followed shortly after by the deaths of his mother and father and the moving of her siblings to live with other relatives. He wanted to keep them together, so he tried to do his best to bring them back, but he was only nineteen, and didn't have the ability to support them.
When he was 20 Turns, he was searched to Northern Aurora Weyr where he hopes to stand for the next Hatching.

Why? I see Raevin being better on a larger dragon or an aggressive blue. I have always preferred more aggressive dragons for him.

Apperance:
Monerae is a rather large Bronze flitter. He has longer wings than most flitters, allowing him to fly faster and farther than most. He is very graceful in the air, though he isn't as much so on land. He is definitely a king flitter. He has his own share of scars from his inability to stay out of trouble and his need to try to protect his master.
Personality:
Monerae is a possessive little beast. He even has trouble sharing R’vin with Carnith, although the Bronze definitely carries a lot more wait. He is fearless and will stand up to everything. He is very commanding and demanding and never takes no for an answer easily.
